Evan attended high school in Seminole County and worked at a tire store before coming to Mid Florida Tech. He learned about the programs at Mid Florida Tech through the website and learned that Mid Florida Tech is one of a few schools that offer machining as well as welding.
Evan spent six months in the welding program and a year and a half in the machining program. He states, "Machining was a great experience with a great teacher with a lot to offer an up and coming machinist. The program was spot on with everything I needed to learn or could have learned for the defense contractor that I am currently employed by. The expertise and experience of the instructor combined with the affordable tuition make for a win-win situation for anyone interested in machining or manufacturing technology." |
