MISSION:
The Marketing, Merchandising, and Parts Operations program is
committed to providing quality marketing, merchandising, parts
specialist, and entry-level management training for a variety
of occupations. Emphasis is placed on the personal, technological
and academic skills that are the hallmark of today's expert
employee and citizen.
DESCRIPTION:
This program prepares students for employment in a variety of
businesses to include: sales, marketing, billing, inventory
control, purchasing, warehouse work, entry level management,
warehousing, billing, computer systems, accounts receivable,
accounts payable and purchasing. Automated and Electronic
Cataloging services, parts specialist operations and marketing
managerial techniques are also included. Student organization
and hands-on activities are an integral part of student learning
in this program.
UNIQUE REQUIREMENTS:
The State of Florida requires students to meet a basic
skills requirement prior to program completion. The basic skills
grade levels for this program are: Mathematics 9.0, Language 9.0,
Reading 9.0

Points (OCP)
OCPs provide a student with early completion training options
linked to employment opportunities established by the Florida
Department of Education based on the Standard Occupational Classification
(SOC) system and accepted industry titles.

be reasonably expected by students who enter this field upon completion
of the program is:
