for Getting Started |

Step 1: Bring the completed application
form and required
documentation to the Information Specialist in
the Admissions Office Building 700, Room 700 (see required
documentation and hours
of operation)
- If you do not have a printed copy of the application
form, you will receive one from the Information Specialist
- Documents will be reviewed
- Complete the Student Information form
- Receive an appointment with a Student Advisor

Step 2: Student Advisor
- Discuss your program of interest and what options you
may have
- Review your application, documents and student information
form
- Receive a student identification number
- Discuss the basic skills test
- Schedule an appointment for the basic skills test (click
here for testing schedule)
- Receive information on Financial Aid

Step 4: Basic Skills Testing
- Take your test and receive your results

Step 5: Registrar
- Inform registrar if you are to be a full-time or part-time
student
- Some programs require all full-time attendance
- Review your application, student information form and
test results
- Determine your class schedule
- Complete a registration form
- Enter your program information and test scores into
the computer
- Be assigned a date for MFT 101

- If you are receiving financial aid proceed to Financial
Aids office to receive tuition voucher before proceeding
to the Business Office
- If you are sponsored by another agency, please have
the voucher before proceeding to the Business Office

Step 6: Business
Office
- Pay $25 application fee AND
- Pay tuition, insurance and supply fees and any other
program related costs
- Receive the student copy of the Admit to Class Slip
- Receive an ID badge
- Purchase parking decal ($25)
- Purchase books

Class

- Technical program
- Academic co-enrollment may be required if test scores
are below the statue identified levels for the program
of choice

CONTINUING WORKFORCE EDUCATION
Students are employed in the technical field and are
interested in taking a course within a technical program to upgrade
their skills. CWE students are not required to take a basic skills
test. |
