TESTING OPTIONS

Test of Adult Basic Education (TABE) The Florida legislature mandates that each student enrolled in a certificate/diploma program must meet required basic academic skills levels in mathematics, language and reading in order to receive a certificate of completion or an applied technology diploma. Mid Florida Tech administers the TABE test. After completing the TABE, a counselor or student advisory will review the results with the individual and develop an individual education plan.
  • Prospective students for technical and academic programs will take the TABE test.
  • TABE testing is available by appointment

Comprehensive Adult Student Assessment Survey (CASAS)

  • Enrollment in Adult English Literacy classes requires the CASA testing before being placed in a class.
  • CASA testing is available by appointment
