It is our desire to assist you
in your journey to success, whether that is to obtain your
high school diploma, your General Educational Diploma and/or
a technical certificate in one of our many technical training
programs or to learn to speak English.
The Admissions department is located on the main campus
of Mid Florida Tech, 2900 West Oak Ridge Road, Orlando, FL
32809 —Building 700, Room 700. Once in Admissions,
an Information Specialist will greet you. Your questions
will be answered and Admissions paperwork will begin. Depending
on which program area you desire, the procedures to enroll
will vary.

Steps
to Admission
Step 1. SELECT A PROGRAM AND APPLY ONLINE
Mid Florida Tech offers many career training programs,
GED Preparation, Adult English Literacy classes, Apprenticeship,
short term computer classes, health CEUs, and much more. Browse
our programs here then Apply
Online.
Step 2. MEET WITH A COUNSELOR/ADVISOR
Our counselors and advisors will help you decide on
the program or class that will meet your career objectives
and learning goals. Remember to ask about financial aid.
If you are interested in a short term computer class
or health CEU, skip to Step 4. Remember to bring your
high school diploma, professional certifications, picture
identification, and proof of residency.
Step 3. COMPLETE PROGRAM REGISTRATION PREREQUISITES
Prerequisites may be one or more of the following depending
upon your program choice: placement testing (eg. TABE),
meeting with the instructor, or an information session.
The TABE, "Test of Adult Basic Education",
assesses your current academic grade level. Don't worry,
test-taking
tips and information about the test are available upon
request. We are here to help you succeed!
Step 4. FINISH THE PROCESS
Once you have successfully applied and met the prerequisites
for your program choice, an advisor will help you complete
the process.
